A 1980’s Beach House Transformation
Today we are touring Australia’s Sunshine Coast where beach life, garden views and relaxed living are the order of the day.
Noa by the Beach is a boutique family accommodation. It has been thoughtfully designed, blending a coastal lifestyle with a sophisticated, yet relaxed barefoot luxury. This beautifully light and tranquil beach home is a contemporary redesign of a 1980s beach house.
All about the location
Located in Little Cove, the home can be found between Noosa National Park and Little Cove Beach. Homeowners, Debbie and Wes, yearned for a holiday home reminiscent of their childhood beach days. They, therefore, collaborated with local designers to set about creating their ideal getaway.
The interiors are thus kept light and white. Lots of natural light is further welcomed in through fold-away doors and skylights in the living spaces. Furthermore, organic materials with woven rugs and rattan furniture add to that relaxed coastal vibe.
A full transformation
The home now boasts a fully equipped kitchen, spacious open plan living and dining. An indoor fireplace, a media room, six thoughtfully designed bedrooms (including bunk beds) and four luxurious bathrooms complete the abode.
An expansive deck flows from the main living area and looks over a lush tree-lined backdrop of Noosa National Park. This view can be seen from the moment you step through the front door. The home is therefore the epitome of coastal living!
The deck has a fully covered alfresco area with outdoor kitchen, sitting area, BBQ and outdoor heating. Downstairs, the backyard features a pool (which can be heated upon request). It is a family-friendly space and therefore also boasts a trampoline, board racks and plenty of beach and pool toys for guests.
Who wouldn’t enjoy a holiday in this pristine location!
