Modernising an existing pool is a great way of refreshing your space. This can include updating the shape and replacing coping, lining, tiling and decking.

Mac D recently completed such a renovation and explains the process: “We recently updated an outdated and asymmetrical pool, transforming it into a pool with clean lines and a contemporary style.”

“The existing gunite pool was altered to a rectangular shape by adding a new gunite wall the length of the pool. This freed up a lot of space in the small garden.”

“New Revelstone coping, fibreglass lining and waterline ceramic mosaic tiles updated the old style and the wooden deck, raised slightly above garden level, added the finishing touch. Other alterations not visible included the addition of an LED underwater light and a Zodiac saltwater chlorinator.”

If a full reno is not in the budget, the company can also update an existing pool by turning a standard pool into a rim-flow pool for a more contemporary look and feel.
