Comfort Pack a comfy picnic blanket, or two, or three, depending on the amount of people who will be joining you. For added comfort, remember to pack a few pillows and a throw or light jersey in case it becomes a bit chilly outdoors. Brunch ideas Depending on the time of day for your planned picnic, choose foods that you can eat with ease. If you’re doing a brunch picnic, opt for breakfast scones, muffins and quiches that make for a wholesome mid-morning snack. Remember, what makes a picnic really great is that you can snack on plenty of different things, so keep things interesting with an array of goodies. Mornings may also call for a flask of coffee – remember to pack in plastic mugs or cups for convenience.
