Where Form Follows Light: Experience Nemo Lighting’s Iconic Masterpieces at True Design
Where form follows light, Nemo Lighting leads. Since its founding in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina, the brand has consistently redefined the boundaries of illumination. Now available at True Design, Nemo’s pieces are more than lighting; they are a masterclass in materiality, legacy, and innovation.
The Masters Collection is a rare convergence of twentieth-century brilliance. Le Corbusier’s Projecteur 165, originally created for the Chandigarh Parliament, returns as a sculptural pendant in night blue or white sand. With its curved sandblasted diffuser and adjustable body, it retains all the utilitarian poise of its original context, now adapted for domestic scale.
For sculptural impact, the Crown chandelier by Jehs + Laub offers a modular, snowflake-like composition of sandblasted glass and die-cast aluminium, suspended by a transparent or optional red cable. Its geometric repetition reads like jewellery in the air.
From the same duo, Constellation translates celestial geometry into a wall or ceiling-mounted luminaire. Built for both indoor and outdoor use, its prismatic moulded glass diffuser and hinge-joined body deliver both performance and poetic presence.
AM2Z, a floor lamp by Franco Albini and team, channels mid-century modernism through a sleek chromed structure and metallic diffuser – discreetly commanding, with dimmable flexibility.
Leaning smaller, Panama Mini brings portable elegance in cordless form. Ten hours of anti-glare LED light wrapped in matte white or black aluminium, a quiet triumph in desk lighting.
Now with the weight of FontanaArte, Driade, and Reggiani behind it, Nemo continues to shape the light of tomorrow. Discover the collection exclusively at True Design.
