The Lighting Warehouse: LED Striplights
A popular way of lighting up your indoor and outdoor spaces
LED striplights are no longer for commercial spaces or festive occasions. They are a great way of creating some nightscaping features in your garden, as well as offering a creative way of lighting up your indoor spaces as well. “LED striplights are becoming increasingly popular due to their many benefits, which include the fact that they are incredibly energy efficient, easy to install, they don’t heat up like incandescent bulbs and so don’t pose a safety or fire hazard, they are very inconspicuous and great for use in small, awkward spaces, and they boast a very long lifespan.” – Melissa Davidson
They can be used for a number of versatile applications, including as under-counter and under-bar lighting, around recessed bulkheads, around bathroom mirrors, under each stair as a means of illuminating the entire staircase, around your home’s street number, and in your closets too. The Lighting Warehouse has a new range of 12V LED striplight kits, which come complete with their own driver. The new range is available in kits that are either 2.5 metres or 5-metres in length. The strip itself is approximately 1cm wide and it is also very thin – measuring less than 1cm in width. A great benefit of the new LED striplight kits from The Lighting Warehouse, is that the strips themselves are IP67-rated, which means that they are entirely weatherproof and can withstand all the elements, even direct rainfall. This makes them ideal for outdoor applications, as well as for use in wet areas in the home, such as the bathroom and kitchen for example. The LED striplights come with an adhesive backing for easy installation.
They are available in warm white, daylight white, and a RGB colour-changing option, which boasts up to 15 different colour options and comes with a remote. With the RGB kit, you can either use the remote to set it on one fixed colour, or you can set it to fade in and out of the three different selected colours. There is also a “strobe” function, which is great for parties. Contact: The Lighting Warehouse
