Task Lighting Revolutionised with FormFunc
Energy efficient task lighting has become an integral part of the ergonomic workstation, and each FormFunc task light provides exceptional levels of bright, comfortable light.
Yielding both ergonomic, economic and environmental benefits – Humanscale’s comprehensive task lighting portfolio fits any needs, whether you desire performance, efficiency, ease of use, or all of the above.
In recent years Humanscale’s design studio has pioneered LED task lighting technology to new heights. Their element series has solved common challenges of multiple shadows, light quality & rendering as well as the lifespan of the LED source itself.
Correctly designed and integrated into an overall lighting scheme, energy efficient task lighting allows for cost saving, improved staff performance and a substantial decrease in energy consumption.
Overhead lighting is one of the biggest culprits of energy consumption. By placing energy-efficient task lights at every workstation, overhead lighting levels can generally be reduced, slashing energy use and costs. In fact, research has shown that a dual-source lighting system can reduce energy consumption by as much as 30%.
Disc
From its elegant, minimal aesthetic to its next-generation technology, Element Disc is leading the LED revolution. Utilizing innovative Thin Film LED TechnologyTM, Disc offers seven levels of dimmability with just an effortless “pinch” of the light head.
And taking advanced LED technology to a new level of sustainability, Disc features an occupancy sensor that turns the unit on or off when the user enters or leaves the area. When not in use, Disc folds into a compact nesting position, with the form of the lamp head gracefully echoing that of the base.
Horizon
Humanscale’s Horizon LED task light, a visually striking fusion of form and function, is the first utilization of Thin Film TechnologyTM in a task light. Using a series of high-intensity LEDs surrounding several layers of polycarbonate and optical films, Thin Film Technology produces an ultra-wide footprint of warm, glare-free 3000K light—excellent for ergonomic illumination and beautiful light in any environment.
In addition, Horizon’s built-in dimmer control provides both energy savings and adjustable levels of illumination. Horizon now comes in eight vibrant colours.
Vision
Introducing the warmest, most beautiful light output ever seen from an LED task light. Utilizing cutting-edge advancements in MCX LED Technology, Element Vision produces a broad footprint of true-colour, glare-free illumination—perfect for exceptional ergonomic lighting in any environment.
Beyond using just 7 watts of power, Vision’s energy-saving features include an intuitive dimmer control for adjustable light intensity and a Passive Infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor that turns the unit off when the user leaves the area.
