Stellenbosch and Cape Town-based design group, Rumour Has It, was recently awarded an International Luxury Lifestyle Awards, Winner in the Category of Best Luxury Commercial Interior Design in South Africa, for their 360 integrated design work for Ernie Els Wines, situated in the beautiful and historic Stellenbosch Winelands. Lights By Linea proudly did the lighting for this amazing project!

Designers had the privilege to conceptualise, design, and steer this exciting renovation project, where every detail will leave you breathless. Rumour Has It developed a complete core concept with the overall brand rollout, embedding the new Brand DNA through an entire range of experiences throughout the Estate.

The design concept was based on a Modern Farmhouse Interior, but with a unique local imprint. Working with some of the best craftsmen in the industry, every element was designed and manufactured bespoke.

From the conveying and prevailing of the old to the integration of the new, Ernie Els Wines will be experienced as Synaesthesia… a feast for the five senses.
