Lighting Trends You Won’t Want To Miss with Eurolux

One of the most budget-friendly ways to instantly update your space is to change your light fixtures. Just a few strategic swaps can instantly transform a room and elevate its style status. This year’s lighting trends have been predicted and as always, Eurolux is ahead of the game with several new additions to their range that reflect 2018’s must-have shapes and designs.

You won’t want to miss these beauties… BOLD CURVES We’re seeing a lot of bold curves in lighting design this year – think rounded edges, cylindrical silhouettes, spiralling rings and discs. These circular shapes lend themselves to a rather modern retro look and some of the newest additions to the Eurolux range have a definite 70s feel about them. Inject some flair into your space with disc-shaped fixtures (such as Eurolux’s P803, P808), draw the eye upward and create a focal point with ring-inspired designs (P804, P812, P814), or suspend a row of cylindrical pendants (P807) for a fresh yet functional look over bars, counters and islands. No matter how you choose to interpret the trend, introducing one or more of these fixtures to your space is guaranteed to enhance its overall look. METALLIC LINED SHADES Luminaires in copper, brass and gold have been trending for a while now and they’re still a go-to choice for adding that urban-chic feel to a room. However, this year there’s a whole new twist on the trend and we’re seeing light shades with a metallic inner lining. These reflective inner shades contrast with the muted colour of the outer shade and the result is a subtle yet eye-catching statement piece. The Maserlo range is a great example of this. Choose between a black shade with gold lining or a taupe shade with gold lining (P714). CONCRETE This composite material is having a moment in home decor. We’re seeing it everywhere from polished floors to accessories. When it comes to incorporating it into your interior space, concrete is incredibly versatile – you can go full utilitarian with clean lines and uncluttered surfaces or you can create contrast with soft furnishings and organic textures. If you’re wanting to get in on the trend, then lighting is a good place to start. Eurolux’s new range of concrete luminaires strikes the perfect balance between industrial and modern while adding a touch of elegance to the room. NATURAL TEXTURES There’s a growing focus on green living, so it comes as little surprise that people want to incorporate earthy elements and natural textures in their home decor. Eurolux has a number of maple wood designs that are guaranteed to help you achieve an organic yet classic look in your space while adding warmth and contrast. COLOURED GLASS Although it has been around for centuries, coloured glass is making a major comeback this year in the decor trend department. This is especially true in lighting where colourful glass shades lend themselves to a mid-century modern look and feel. If your space is more on the minimalist/Scandi side, then the addition of colourful glass pendant lighting (P796, P902, P929) creates a focal point and helps brighten up the space. You can’t go wrong with beautiful lighting. Get your fix at Eurolux.
