Teramo Quartz Natural Stone Wholesalers Expands in South Africa

SANGENGALO/TERAMO

As the Sangengalo brand continues to evolve, Teramo Quartz is entering a new and exciting chapter as Teramo Quartz & Natural Stone Wholesalers, a dedicated division focused on supplying premium slabs of marble, granite, quartzite, terrazzo, and engineered stone slabs to the industry.

While Sangengalo remains firmly focused on the fabrication and installation of high-end stone projects, Teramo now serves as the hub for sourcing and distributing exceptional materials to architects, designers, developers, and fabrication partners. Teramo Quartz & Natural Stone Wholesalers also offer expert assistance in importing bespoke slabs identified by designers and architects – with endless options!

This shift allows the business to strengthen both its installation expertise and its material offering, while continuing to introduce distinctive slabs into the South African market.

Don’t miss the latest arrivals

New arrivals on the warehouse floor in 2026 include leathered Titanium Gold Premier Granite from Brazila dramatic material featuring bold gold veining across a deep background. Titanium Gold offers strong potential for statement islands, feature walls, and architectural focal points.

Rosa Tuscany, a marble admired for its warm rosy tones and soft movement, is also now available as a recent addition to the bouquet, bringing a refined warmth to interiors seeking a softer palette.

A long-standing favourite, Vanilla Ice marble from Turkey is also available, and continues to attract strong demand. Its creamy tones and subtle patterning make it ideal for elegant kitchens, bathrooms, and timeless residential and commercial interiors.

Completing the recent additions to the collection is Calacatta Monet Oro, one of Teramo’s most versatile marbles. It has already proven to be a firm favorite with designers, decorators and interior architects alike, with  balanced veining working beautifully across a range of palettes. The material can be backlit to create striking features in hospitality environments and luxury interiors.

In addition to groundbreaking new materials by Teramo, the upcoming year is also poised to introduce innovative directions in colour palettes. Warmer tones are replacing cooler greys, textured finishes are gaining popularity, and designers are increasingly using stone beyond countertops — incorporating it into feature walls, fireplaces, furniture, and architectural elements throughout the home.
