Small Smokeless Fire Pits for Quiet Outdoor Moments | Helios Fire Pollux & Castor
At Helios Fire, they have always loved big moments around the fire — but this story is about small smokeless fire pits for quiet outdoor moments.
They gave audiences the Apollo; bold, striking, impossible to ignore. Then came Eros; still generous in size, still made for gathering, still built for long evenings outdoors.
But somewhere along the way, they realised something.
Not everyone wants a massive fire pit.
Some people want something smaller. More personal. Something for quieter moments.
The solo campers.
The balcony wine drinkers.
The couples escaping for the weekend.
The introverts who just want a small flame, good music, and a little peace after a long day.
So the team started asking:
“What would a baby Helios Fire pit look like?”
That question became the Pollux Smokeless Fire Pit and the Castor Smokeless Fire Pit — designed specifically as small smokeless fire pits for quiet outdoor moments.
Creating smaller fire pits sounds easy, until it is realised that the same efficient airflow, clean burn, portability, durability, and signature smokeless performance Helios Fire is known for still needs to be achieved.
Pollux became the larger sibling of the two, designed for 2–4 people. With a 220mm diameter and a height of 25.8cm, it is compact enough to travel with while still creating a warm social atmosphere. It is perfect for camping trips, intimate patio evenings, rooftop gatherings, or slow weekends away.
Castor, on the other hand, is the smallest fire pit yet; built for 1–2 people and designed around simplicity. Measuring 180mm in diameter with the same 25.8cm height, it is made for solo camping trips, quiet beach evenings, or sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine after a long day.
Both units are manufactured using durable 304 and 430 stainless steel with a double-wall smokeless design that improves airflow and creates a cleaner, more efficient burn with less smoke.
But honestly, this launch became about more than just size.
As a team, Pollux and Castor reminded them that not every moment needs to be loud or crowded to matter. Sometimes the best evenings are the quiet ones; a tiny fire, fresh air, and enough silence to finally slow down for a while.
And that is exactly what these small smokeless fire pits for quiet outdoor moments were made for.
