Plascon House Tour: Moody Interior Masterclass
Supremely moody, dark and dramatic, this is a house tour masterclass in working with a dark interior
The colour palette is certainly bold. We see plenty of charcoal both in the interior and exterior of this surprising abode. To lighten the mood a bit, a cerulean blue adorns one bedroom, while the other uses a light grey ceiling to encourage light to bounce back from the light streaming through the window. It is always important to note that interior colours always appear darker due to the play of shadows in the space.
Such a dark interior requires some uplifting decor as the point is not to go too Gothic. Pop art in vibrant yellows, pinks and red pair beautifully with art deco style furniture and geometric patterning. Visit @patirobins for more of this eclectic abode.
