Plascon House Tour: A Modern Castle
Ever wondered what a 12th-century castle would look like with modern renovations? Well, look no further! This gorgeous French chateau in Diroc has been lovingly renovated and the results are superb.
The family who live here first visited the castle back in 2013, and it was love at first sight. After a two-year long renovation, the family brought the crumbling castle back to life, but left behind hints of the castle’s rustic past, such as the bits of wallpaper and peeling paint in order to give the home a bohemian, eclectic vibe. This home also happens to feature a few bold bold pops of Pantone‘s 2017 color of the year: greenery. Unpretentious, this modern day castle is a refined space filled with character and whimsical charm. Contact: Plascon Via Photography via vt wonen.
