Plascon House Tour: Holiday Home in Cornwall
This charming Cornwall abode has that added sparkle that makes a holiday home such an inviting and memorable space. From the character-filled architecture to the finer details and accent pieces, this home packs a punch in warming finishes that we love.
A quaint living room feels fresh and cosy with arched windows framed by beautiful vintage wooden shutters. A lick of dark grey paint on the walls adds depth and warmth to this rich interior and a wall fully clad in rustic wood adds to the depth of this space. We love the complimentary shades of mustard that pervade this space – tying the space together beautifully with elegant finishes and plush textures that are lovely.
The dining nook further takes on a cosy, cottage style with vintage wooden furniture accompanied by fresh greens and simplistic artwork on the walls. The unconventional windows add a charming element to the overall design and a reclaimed church bench is a welcome addition to this charming space.
The kitchen is truly magical – taking you to an old country cottage or farmhouse where the kitchen most certainly is the heart of the home. Quaint and rustic, the kitchen is fully kitted out in rustic wooden storage units, exposed wooden beams and gorgeous blue painted cabinets that infuse it with a pop of vibrancy and colour.
The colour scheme carries through to the bedroom where blues and mustards again take centre stage here, adding a calming, cooling and country style ambience. We love the intricate detailing of the vintage screen used as a headboard and a striking crocheted rug that adds definition to this room.
The outdoors are equally enchanting with views of the countryside, a jaccuzi spa and custom patio furniture that add to the overall sense of comfort and enjoyment of this country house.
