Plascon House Tour: Danish Home
We love the regal qualities of this traditional Danish residence that brings with it classic architecture, high ceilings and beautiful styling for the Christmas season!
Large rooms and traditional wall panelling add to the stature of this Danish abode. Each space flows into the next through widened doorways and wooden flooring that brings warmth and definition to this space. In the living room, a modern chandelier adds colour and texture, juxtaposed against a very traditional gold-framed mirror – the details of which are classic and regal. The minty tones of the walls soften the interior while contemporary sofa and area rug further add comfort and style. The Christmas tree takes pride of place here, beautifully styled with velvet-wrapped gifts. We also see a trending metalwork chandelier adding a contemporary touch to this otherwise traditional home. The grey shades of this room are also quite modern in comparison to the classic architectural features including crown moulding and traditional wall moulding panels painted in grey and white. Th dining room is spacious and inviting – the details of the room are spectacular including a stunning Victorian styled ceiling, arched window frames and original wood flooring. The room feels bright as light floods the space through open windows on the one end of the room. A simple dining table features in the centre of the room, and with minimal furniture, the space seems expansive. A mix of light fittings completes the room, from a cascading chandelier above the table to a modern metallic floor lamp and free-standing fabric light shade. The bedroom feels more modern with contemporary shades of blue greys in the linen. A cream backdrop softens the space and a modern fabric lantern brings a new dimension to this master suite. Fully kitted out with modern built-in cupboards for added storage, this room is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. We also love the use of modern art above the bed to tie into the overall colour scheme of this space. Contact: Plascon Photography Andreas Mikkel Hansen for Bo Bedre
