Plascon House Tour: Age of Modernity
A beautiful black iron staircase criss-crosses this French home that is symbolic of the age of modernity.
Clean and elegant lines form the skeleton of this space. Black, white and soft grey form the colour scheme, with small pops of bright colours to offset monotony. Canary yellow, blood red furniture and, surprisingly, magenta stripes work as the decor colour palette.
Space has been used cleverly in this home. Above the staircase, ceiling-to-floor shelving house thousands of books- our kind of place to hang out. We also love the monochromatic tiles that create a checkerboard effect.
The huge white bath in the bedroom is offset with a Persian rug that gives this room a touch of charm.
