Leroy Merlin: Launches Luxens Private Label Paint
Specialising in providing home improvement solutions tailored to each customer’s specific needs, Leroy Merlin has become a trusted name in the South African DIY space.
“A Leroy Merlin store is a do-it-yourself hypermarket. It is also a place where everyone can find the products and specialised advice they need, whatever their desires, needs, or level of expertise may be. Staying close to customers is at the core of LEROY MERLIN’s business. Our objective is simply to help our customers imagine the home of their dreams and, above all, to achieve it,” the company says.
Building on this objective, the company has introduced Luxens – a new paint specially formulated for South African homes.
The range consists out of Luxens Universal Acrylic Paint in White and Luxens Solvent Based Plaster Primer.
Luxens Universal Acrylic Paint is not only affordable but offers a smooth matte finish, and is durable, washable and UV resistant, making it perfect for the harsh South African climate.
The high-quality water-based paint, which is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, also has excellent opacity.
Luxens Solvent Based Plaster Primer is a pigmented water-based primer with low VOC and odour. It is also easy to clean.
It is suitable for application to dry, raw cement plaster, fibre cement and cement bricks. The primer is also suitable for use on gypsum plaster that dries with a firm surface (not above powdery residue), making it a great choice for local construction, especially for those working with a limited budget.
Luxens products are available online and in store at Leroy Merlin.
