DIY: Create a Classy Candle Holder with Cemcrete

What you will need:

1 balloon for every candle holder you intend to make 400ml clean water 100ml Flexbond Protective Gloves 1kg SculptCrete Mixing Bowl A sturdy container or cup Tealight candles

What to do:

Blow up one balloon for every candle holder you plan to make. Next dilute 100ml Flexbond with 400ml clean water. This will be your mixing liquid. Now, put on your protective gloves. Add 1kg of dry SculptCrete to your mixing bowl. Add some of your mixing liquid and mix thoroughly. Add little bits at a time and keep mixing until it is all mixed through. A putty consistency will be achieved.

Next, secure your balloon to a sturdy container. Pack the ScuptCrete around the balloon, leaving a space around the base. Once covered, leave to dry and then cut away the balloon. Neaten up and shape edges as desired. Next, take the candle holder to a well-ventilated area and spray with a spray paint in the Next, take the candle holder to a well-ventilated area and spray with a spray paint in the colour of your choice. Once dry, place a tealight candle inside, light and enjoy!
