Wood Coffee Tables by Nolden & Early
What happens when two creative minds join together on a project? An exciting explosion of ideas and design possibilities, of course. The same is true for Nolden & Early, a new collaboration of two creatives in the local design industry. The result is a range of gorgeous wood coffee tables that speak to the beauty of wood and the power of craftsmanship!
Andrew Early has worked with wood all his working life, and his work has appeared in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally. On the other hand, Nicholas Nolden has worked within the décor market for many years, importing and manufacturing décor items including lighting, mirrors and accent furniture. Together the pair bring impeccable skill and years of industry know-how to the party.
Their latest wood coffee table is an exquisite furniture piece that brings the beauty of raw wood into the interior space. All wood has been procured as cuts from exotic trees grown in South Africa that needed to be eradicated. And beautiful wood, this is true indeed! Think Pin oak; Japanese Maple; Poplar; Monkey Pod; Himalayan Cedar; Plain and Camphor to name a few.
Each piece of timber is then carefully selected, dried and thereafter worked into a piece of furniture that will last a lifetime.
Tips for styling a wood coffee table…
If you’re looking at purchasing a beautiful organic wood coffee table, take note of the following tips to help maximise your piece.
- Less is more. A beautiful wood table top speaks for itself. Keep it simple and let the table do the talking.
- Add a small arrangement of books, a vase or greenery to complement the organic look of your table.
- A tray can work as a wonderful base for decor and accessories. Add a simple tray in a contrasting finish and create a display with some of your favourite decor!
- Play with different heights and textures to create a beautifully curated decor selection.
- Add interest with a pop of colour. Compliment existing colours in your room to create a streamlined look. A colourful vase, glassware or florals will add vibrancy and an organic feel.
