The African Touch: Safari’s Favourite Chairs
Ever dreamed of going on safari and enjoying the true beauty of the African landscape? We’re dreaming about these gorgeous escapes in nature too! With many of us exploring local spots this season, safaris are definitely on our bucket list. However, if you’re staying safe at home, you can recreate the feel of an African safari in your own interior. Here we share some of our favourite safari chairs from The African Touch.
Safari Director’s Chair
This version of the Safari Director’s Chair has an extra-wide self-tightening seat and broad armrests for added comfort. A clip-on Drinks Tray is an optional extra. Ideal as a dining chair, as a desk chair or a casual chair on the veranda or around the campfire.
Kruger Director’s Chair
The Kruger Director’s Chair is an upmarket and unique version of the classic Director’s Chair. The beautiful hand-turned components are measured by the expert eye of a master craftsman. Solid brass hinges compliment the hand-worked Zambezi Teak. The result is thus a utility chair of rare beauty and elegance.
Standard Director’s Chair
The Standard Director’s Chair is an affordable but still very robust version of The African Touch Safari Director’s chair and has the same extra-wide self-tightening seat that is suitable for private use, in camps and lodges, or on boat cruises. The armrests are not as wide as those of the Safari Chair. It therefore allows them to fold away neatly for hassle-free storage.
Campaign Director’s Chair
The Campaign Director’s Chair is designed in the true tradition of Campaign Furniture to fold tight and pack flat for travel. As such it is ideal for shipping to overseas destinations. Beautifully hand-built from solid African Mahogany, this unique chair adds a little distinction to your home or lodge. An option with built-in folding drinks tray is also available.
