A superior selection of chairs by Incanda

Incanda is about local craftsmanship, quality materials, and impeccable design. Over the years they have refined the design and manufacture of their timeless furniture pieces, offering items that are uniquely South African in terms of an authentic look and feel.

In interior design, you have to choose furniture items that resonate with the owner of the home. When it comes to chairs, choose a designer piece that tells a story. At Incanda, the selection of chairs on offer tells a distinctly African tale – one any homeowner would be proud to showcase. From the quality of wood to the distinct choice of leather, these designer chairs make a bold statement.

Take a closer look at some of these superior chair offerings, finished off in quality leather and wood, now available locally. The natural tones and wooden frames of the Clarens Rocker (1) and Opel Chair (3) make these classic pieces for any home. The woven Loxton Chair (2) on the other hand is a more contemporary design, now available in an array of colours. Its curved hind-legs are its signature trademark. When it comes to the quality of leather used at Incanda, only the best is considered in the manufacture of their chairs. The Greyton Chair (6) for example is available in quality Bovine (cow leather) or Buff Tobacco. The standard bovine leathers all come in a semi-aniline finish, giving it proper protection against everyday onslaughts. The bold wingback chair (4) is oversized for added comfort and available in Curry Oil Pull Up.

Pull-up leathers are treated with oils and waxes on top to provide it with a slightly mottled look. These leathers age to give a very pleasant well-worn look over time. The Ruby Red Midlands Chair (5) also makes for a striking statement piece, in quality Naku leather. If you enjoy a rugged look but do not prefer too many scratches and marks, we recommend the Naku range. This is Bovine (cow) leather which does not originate from feedlot hides, but from cattle that have been raised in the veld. Therefore the marks are not as deep as with the Kudu, but it still boasts a very natural look.
