Seasonal Refresh with Woodlam

As the blazing hot days of summer are nearly passed, many of us will find ourselves retreating to the warmth of our interiors as the cold starts to sink in. The turn of Autumn is near, we can tell by the sun starting to shift its direction where it usually sets. We like to think of changing seasons as a time to truly reflect and think about how you want your interiors to feel, since you’re spending a lot of time indoors during chillier months. Bringing the warmth inside is easily achievable through the use of colours and textures through your furniture and decor decisions.

For this month’s feature, Seasonal Refresh, we wanted to highlight our striking, yet timeless dining and occasional chairs. Featured is our Summit in fluted leather, the Jason, Hazel, Shannon and Candice, in warm tones of browns, reds and oranges, perfectly encapsulating Autumn through their textures and tones.

Upholstery such as leathers and suedes adds depth and character to spaces, as a way to create a sense of warmth in a room. These fabrics also always feel more luxe and are not only beautiful, but durable. Another way to make a space feel cosy is by using darker stains on your wooden furniture. We especially love the deep chocolate stain of the beautiful wooden structure of our Shannon, shown with a maroon bouclé upholstery. This month we also want to introduce and highlight the Candice chair, developed for the Houghton Golf Club. We love the bold, rounded feel of the chair contrasted against the sharp geometric frame – standing out as a comfortable and stylish piece.
