Inova Contracts: Roskilde Festival Unveils The Hay Pop Up Restaurant
Dinner-delivery service Simple Feast recently popped up with an exciting restaurant concept in a backstage area at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
They equipped their restaurant with all HAY products from the cutlery to the furniture, choosing Soft Edge Chairs and CPH Deux Tables set with Rainbow and Soft Ice dishware inside, and creating a cosy outdoor-lounge area with the Palissade Collection.
The Palissade Collection:
Palissade is a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. The collection was designed to fit a wide variety of environments: cafés, restaurants, gardens, terraces and balconies. As such, this was an ideal choice for the outdoor-lounge area created at Roskilde.
The construction allows a wide range of typologies with a common formal language. From stools and benches to chairs and tables, lounge chairs and sofas – the collection comprises 13 different elements, united not only by their graphical image but also by their common characteristics: they are strong without being bulky, elegant without being fragile.
More about Roskilde Festival:
A welcome addition to the Roskilde Festival, Hay brought a whole new dimension to this exciting event. Visitors also got to experience the beauty of sumptuous meals in this pop up restaurant while enjoying the event, as Roskilde is currently the largest music and arts festival in Northern Europe, organised by a charity which supports children and young people as well as doing humanitarian and cultural work.
HAY’s Rainbow Plate series is made from durable porcelain with a slightly translucent coloured lacquer
More about Hay:
At HAY, you will find a wide selection of Danish inspired furniture and accessories for modern living. Hay’s furniture collections include chairs, sofas, lighting and home accessories. The Hay pop Up Restaurant collection is available from Inova Contracts.
