For his newest contemporary café, located on the first floor at pavillon Dufour, Alain Ducasse chose the Ester armchairs designed by Patrick Jouin for Pedrali. ore – Ducasse au château de Versailles is the perfect expression of French contemporary cuisine, delicious, legible and inspired by history. “Ore” means “mouth” in Latin. The name is a reference to the pleasures of the mouth, so important to French art de vivre. It particularly resonates at Château de Versailles where it evokes the services of the Bouche du Roi, whose duty was preparing the meals served at court. 2Pedrali_Ore_Ducasse_-Versailles_-(c)-Pierre-Monetta_low The renovations of pavillon Dufour, curated by architects Dominique Perrault and Frédéric Didier, aim to maintain a subtle balance of memories of the past, architectural creativity and functionality. An outstanding setting, which allows a view like no other of the ancient and magnificent royal residence near Paris.  In such a fascinating and seducing context Ester armchairs, contribute to make even cosier the restaurant internal spaces, thanks to a perfect mix of elegance, ergonomics and functionality. 5Pedrali_Ore_Ducasse_-Versailles_-(c)-Pierre-Monetta_low_5 The care for details featuring this monolith of leather, selected this time in four warm colour shades and complemented by refined die-casted aluminium leg, reflects that one of the restaurant itself,

where guests can discover the delicious proportions of the 17th century salons, adorned with fireplaces, mirrors and lamps.
