Nolden & Early Collaboration

Nolden & Early is a new collaboration of two creative minds in the design and manufacture of bespoke wooden furniture.

All wood procured are cuts from exotic trees grown in South Africa that need to be eradicated. Each piece of timber is therefore carefully selected. It is then dried and thereafter worked into a piece of furniture that will last a lifetime.

Andrew Early has worked with wood all his working life. His work has appeared in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally. Nicholas Nolden has worked with the décor market for many years importing and manufacturing décor items including lighting; mirrors and accent furniture.

More about Nolden Bros

Nolden Bros, based in Durban, South Africa, was founded in 1991 and has become the market leader in manufacturing decorative lighting and decor accessories. They supply retail décor stores and the hospitality industry and work closely with interior designers and project managers.

A talented in-house design team and innovative manufacturing technology have made Nolden Bros a trendsetter in the South African decor industry. Here, designers incorporate elements of metal, wood, resin, stone and other natural resources. They are constantly upgrading their product range and by regularly visiting international design fairs, they keep informed of the latest trends.

In addition to a ready-to-buy range of lighting and decor, you’ll also find custom design services to suit any project’s needs.

While the company centres on traditional lighting, they also offer a few other services and products. This includes the manufacture of Rattan products using natural products such as Pallambang, Rattan, Centrecain and Raffia.

As a proudly South African company, Nolden Bros employs nearly 50 staff members.
