Maldini Contemporary Furniture presents Arketipo
An effortlessly stylish merging of Italian design and contemporary creativity, Arketipo’s latest collection offers products that are as beautiful to look at as they are to experience.
“This season, we have explored new shapes and materials, combining artisanal quality with a modern and refined style,” says the company. “Imagine sofas that embrace you like a hug, armchairs that invite you to relax, and tables that become the centrepieces of the room. Each piece is designed to add a touch of elegance and personality to your space, without compromising on comfort.”
Highlights from the new collection include the Milky Way Sofa, thoughtfully crafted in every detail, with its generous, gently rounded cushions set off by the structure’s striking, quilted vertical lines, the Maverick side tables collection, Gambler Table, and the Touch Me armchair. Designed to cradle us and create a sanctuary of relaxation and personal space, Touch-Me combines style and form in a novel way, making it a testament to comfort and art.
Another exciting design is that of Aperitivo.
“Aperitivo, it is an Italian thing,” says Arketipo. “No other nation could make that after work, pre-meal drink and snack an event; and that is what it is, an event. A way to take stock of the day, to decompress, to relax and yet to converse. To share ideas, to enjoy the company of others or those of your thoughts. It is inherently Italian because it is what we do well, making moments, igniting conversations, discussing what’s on the menu afterwards – socially and culinarily. So how do we translate this into design? How do we symbolise through design our culture? Materials and forms which personify elegance. Mauro Lipparini does this and more with the design of the Aperitivo small tables. Marble tops, built-in ice buckets, swooping lines and form, function and practicality all meet high-end design in this one piece.”
Arketipo is locally available at Maldini.
