Klooftique: The Sculptural Design Trend
One of our favourite design trends in recent years has been the addition of sculptural furniture. Let’s hear from the Klooftique team about how they experience and share this trend with clients…
Whether it be recommending sculptural pieces as a feature in a client’s home or styling a showroom, Klooftique knows that there is nothing quite like incorporating an exciting piece to serve as a focal point in a beautifully curated space.
“As we appreciate that selecting a piece of furniture might be a daunting task, we’re always excited to assist our clients in choosing the right fabrics, specifications and designs best suited to their homes. We also understand the importance of furniture that is not only striking but also functional, which is why we spend so much time keeping up to date with the latest design trends and client enquiries.”
The Loop Chair
A structural piece that has become a firm favourite is the Loop chair by Klooftique. We are also excited that they have extended the Loop chair promo, shoppable over HERE.
“When designing and manufacturing a Klooftique piece, we make sure to focus on comfort and practicality. The Loop chair is therefore not only a timeless feature, but also functional, due to the comfort of the piece.”
The Library Chair
A design synonymous with the Klooftique brand is the Library chair.
The Library chair has been a staple in the range for more than 15 years, and when upholstered in ethically-sourced, hand-selected Nguni hide, serves as a striking feature.
The Smart Chair
Over the last few years, living spaces have become multi-functional, which has led to an increased demand for modular furniture.
A sculptural piece on its own, the Smart chair is proving its mettle against large-scale contenders as the little chair that could.
The Smart chair’s compact and simple design makes for a gorgeous feature when upholstered in distressed leather, or a textured or patterned fabric.
As with all Klooftique designs, clients are able to choose from an extensive range of fabrics and leathers. The Smart chair is also currently on promotion and is shoppable at the link HERE.
To view the extensive range of finishes, visit the Klooftique showroom at 87 Kloof street, Gardens, Cape Town. Consultants are available in-store to assist with any queries you may have.
