In the Spotlight: JB Furniture
JB Furniture Manufacturers have been producing quality furniture in Knysna, the heart of South Africa’s timber industry, since 1995. Today the company has developed into a renowned brand with a professional team offering quality ranges of furniture.
Initially established as JB Woodworking, the factory started as a small, family-run business that focused on manufacturing solid pine furniture for the local and export market.
As demand grew, so the factory expanded, and soon relocated to the current premises on Boswerker Street in Knysna. Over the years, the infrastructure has advanced to offer a wider range of quality interior furniture products that include both classic and contemporary styles, as well as the use of specialized finishes and a variety of local and exotic timbers.
The passionate team is led by Russel Burland and Kimberley Snook who work to continually advance furniture design in new ways through a great love for innovation and appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Whether it is a retail furniture range, a beautiful home, or a stylish commercial project, they are committed to bringing creative and thoughtful designs paired with exceptional service to the South African market and beyond.
Ranging from skilled sanders through to qualified cabinet makers, spray painters and finishing department hands, the team consists of both men and women of all ages, skills, and levels of experience which each make up an important part of JB Furniture Manufacturers.
Product-specific skills training is done in-house under the supervision of the production manager, thus ensuring that a high standard of woodworking knowledge is passed down to the next generation of employees.
So, if you are looking to revamp your bedroom, living room or dining space, JB Furniture has a range for you to consider. Invest in quality that lasts and that will make a definite impact in your home.
