Hotel Mercure Kaliningrad | A Tale of Magical Hospitality Design
Kaliningrad, in Russia, is a city where different cultures and traditions intertwine seamlessly. Hotel Mecure Kalingrad is a 4-star luxury hotel within a 20-minute walk from Königsberg Cathedral, Russia. The property blends historic architecture with all necessary comforts.
The famous storyteller Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffman – author of the magical tale of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King – was born and raised in Kaliningrad, where he also, later on, worked. The tale was then turned into a no less magical ballet to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. This fairytale heritage inspired the interior design of the Mercure Kaliningrad. It recreates an impressive theatre full of history and city elements in the lobby, which also includes a welcoming area with BRABBU pieces, to make the customers feel like a part of the fairytale.
Right after the Mercure logo, sits a welcoming waiting area, ready to comfort guests upon arrival. Here, the guests will find custom EARTH Armchairs by BRABBU. With shelter-style arms and a barrel-shaped body, these armchairs vow to make a statement in any interior, all while supplying outstanding comfort.
Mercure Kaliningrad offers 167 air-conditioned rooms, each individually decorated. Here you can expect all the luxuries of a modern hotel. Bathrooms include bathrobes, slippers, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.
Recreational amenities at the hotel include a sauna and a fitness centre. Across a tree-lined street from the Upper Pond, this upmarket hotel is 2 km from the 14th-century Königsberg Cathedral and 20 km from Khrabrovo Airport.
