Core Furniture: Before the Paparazzi
Before the paparazzi there was Slim Aarons (1916 – 2006), renowned photographer who, over the course of a career lasting half a century, portrayed high society living their life fabulously. This is the inspiration for the newest collections available from Core Furniture.
Slim Aarons quite easily captured a golden age of wealth, privilege, beauty and leisure—but quite separate from—the cultural and political backdrop of the second half of the Twentieth Century. It was before the Paparazzi with his subjects allowing and actually encouraging his work.
The influence of his work has been increasingly acknowledged and he is now regarded as one of the most influential photographers of his generation.
But all that history and cultural relevance aside, his works are just quite simply beautiful and are a glossy and fantastic addition to spice up your space.
You can now bring the beauty of a Slim Aarons print home with the vast collection now available from Core Furniture.
