Tonic Design Anniversary Editions Furniture Collection

Tonic Design has long approached furniture as something to be lived with over time, rather than consumed in passing. In its Anniversary Editions collection, this philosophy is distilled into a series of pieces that feel both grounded and quietly progressive, shaped by architectural thinking, yet deeply responsive to everyday life.

What defines the collection is not only its clarity of form, but its resistance to the fleeting nature of trend-led design. Tonic instead pursues a sense of permanence, allowing earlier works to sit naturally alongside new additions. This continuity creates a rare cohesion – a design language that evolves without losing its centre.

There is an unmistakable sense of legacy running through the collection. Each piece is conceived with longevity in mind, not only in material and construction, but in its ability to remain relevant across changing interiors. These are what the studio describes as “future classics” – objects that balance precision with warmth, structure with ease.

The individual pieces reflect this approach with quiet confidence. The HG Armchair combines sculptural form with generous comfort, its solid oak frame and oxidised brass accents inviting a slower, more considered way of living. The George Dining Table anchors a space with architectural presence, designed as a lasting point of gathering. In the HG Cabinet, storage becomes an exercise in proportion and material refinement, while the Miss Daybed introduces a softer, more relaxed expression without losing its underlying structure.

More understated pieces, such as the Hawker Bench and Thomas Coffee Table, reveal the same level of attention, where simplicity allows craftsmanship and materiality to come forward.

Rather than making a bold statement, the Anniversary Editions collection reads as a reflection on process, material and time. It offers an alternative to excess, suggesting that the most enduring interiors are those shaped with intention, where furniture becomes not only functional, but part of a longer, evolving narrative.
