The Summer Range Must-Haves From Fechters Furniture
Celebrate summer with an amazing range of outdoor furniture from Fechters. The I’lamga Range in Iroko is here to brighten up your space this summer!
I’langa translated from Zulu means ‘Sun’. This range is ideal for celebrating the warmer months as Iroko (Chlorophora Excelsa) requires less maintenance as an outdoor wood. It is more dense and resistant to decay and can also be left outside without any worries.
In fact, Iroko will weather to a silver-grey colour and hairline cracking will appear, due to the timber drying out. This surface cracking will not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. To maintain the natural colour of Iroko, you can routinely maintain your piece with outdoor oil.
The mid-century style and durable African hardwood combine in the I’Langa dining table to create the ultimate outdoor dining experience. Furthermore, lines of subtle shaping make the I’Langa Dining set a marvellous benchmark of Scandinavian design.
Furthermore, a local designer has shaped this table so that it’s slender on its legs, which are subtle, curved, yet possess an overhanging edge. Its airy design subsequently lifts playfully upwards and away, as though the table is taking flight despite its sturdy build.
The I’langa Sets include the following:
- Dining Table available in 6 & 8 Seater
- Benches available in 2 & 3 Seater
- Dining Chair with Arms
- Dining Chair with Out Arms

- 1 Seater Sofa
- 2 Seater Sofa
- 3 Seater Sofa
- Coffee Table 1450mm x 800mm
- Coffee Table 1100mm x 650mm
