Spotlight Roche Bobois
Rich in texture and warm, embracing hues, Roche Bobois’s latest collection is perfect for Autumn 2024. Showcasing beautiful materials, the brand’s legendary savoir-faire and creativity in new designs, here are our favourite pieces for the upcoming season.
Mah Jong
Designed by Hans Hopfer with Jean Paul Gaultier fabrics
“When Jean Paul Gaultier dresses the Mah Jong, elegance and sophistication reign supreme. This design showcases some of the designer’s iconic patterns, such as stripes embellished with woven flowers, or a fishnet motif enhanced by an interplay of light and dark colours. The Mah Jong sofa is set on new platforms lifting it off the ground for even greater comfort.”
Aurea
Designed by Sacha Lakic
“This season, the Aurea collection is released in teak, the king of outdoor woods. The top showcases sunburst marquetry that is both warm and elegant. The wood used is FSC-certified and sourced only from sustainably managed forests.”
Setup
Designed by Sacha Lakic
“The Setup sofa is a new addition to the Roche Bobois family of large modular sofas. It offers particularly generous proportions and exceptional comfort. The fully tufted benches and long-end units are upholstered in a new bouclé fabric comprising mainly wool and alpaca. This sofa is entirely eco-designed and all its units are separable and recyclable.”
Corail Blanc
Designed by Antoine Fritsch and Vivien Durisotti
“The Corail collection is updated this season with an outdoor version named Corail Blanc. Still 3D-printed by way of incredibly innovative technology, the latest design features white concrete and new shapes for airy bases that no longer include metal. The tabletop is made of glass with a rippled effect in keeping with the collection’s aquatic inspiration.”
Residence
Designed by Philippe Bouix
“Résidence exudes elegant simplicity and is poised to become the next great Roche Bobois classic. Fully upholstered in full-grain leather with an incredibly sensual feel, it pairs a very thin base with large, tufted cushions and separate lumbar cushions for optimal comfort.”
Elegio
Designed by Sacha Lakic
“The Elegio sofa’s asymmetrical lines convey strong character, while the refined details lend a sophisticated touch: the ridged, bronze-toned base highlights its curves, and all-over padding is pleasing to the eye and remarkably comfortable to sit on.”
