Sevens: It’s All About Timeless Design
Looking to update your interior with on-trend yet timeless materials and designs? Then look no further than Sevens and their extensive range of leather and wood items.
A winning combination, leather and wood complement each other wonderfully in any interior setting, from traditional masculine spaces to cool and contemporary rooms, Boho-chic interiors and eco-friendly design schemes.
What’s more, you can choose to combine the materials in one piece or select individual leather and wood furniture pieces to mix and match to create the interior of your dreams.
Not to mention the sheer number of wood and leather items available to choose from, from sofas and chairs to picture frames and headboards.
Much loved by designers and clients alike, the two materials have a long and rich history in decor and fashion.
Used to make furniture since prehistoric times, wood is a cost-effective and durable material that does not only shine on its own but can be used as a frame for leather upholstery.
In addition, the wood bark of certain trees is used in the tanning process of animal hides.
So, you see, the combo really is ideal – it’s a natural fit!
Similar to wood, leather has also been used in various forms since the earliest days of man; first animal hides were used to make tents, shoes and clothing. The ancient Romans later realised its potential as an upholstery material.
Here, the team from Sevens shares their favourite wood and leather furniture pieces for a contemporary home…
