Poltrona Frau: Home Cinema Cabinet
Poltrona Frau is raising the curtain on a new era of home cinema with the latest evolution of its Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet, a striking fusion of Italian design flair and German engineering precision, brought to life through an exclusive collaboration with Leica.
Originally imagined by designer Roberto Lazzeroni in 2018 as the ultimate TV and stereo companion, the Fidelio Cabinet has now been reimagined for the modern movie lover. The new home cinema edition introduces a showstopping feature: a seamlessly integrated, motorised projection screen that rises vertically from the top, paired with a custom drawer perfectly sized for the Leica Cine 1 100” smart laser TV. It’s a bold move that redefines the at-home viewing experience with both elegance and innovation.
As always, craftsmanship takes centre stage in the design. The cabinet is crafted from ash wood and birch plywood, while the drawer fronts are clad in luxurious Cuoio Saddle leather – a signature Poltrona Frau touch that also wraps around the side panels for a luxe look.
The cabinet is available at selected Poltrona Frau stores worldwide.
Founded by Renzo Frau in 1912, Poltrona Frau has evolved over the years and today also includes the companies Ceccotti Collezioni, Janus et Cie, Luminaire, Karakter, Luxury Living Group, Interni and Zanotta, as well as Cassina and Cappellini.
Known for its outstanding design craftsmanship, the brand is lauded the world over for its exceptional innovation and quality, crafting contemporary classics for the modern home. With extensive experience and know-how in navigating the design demands of high-end residential and commercial projects, Poltrona Frau has become the partner of choice of many architects and designers, with the company’s wide selection of premium designs helping them fulfil their aesthetic objectives with timeless elegance.
