Nature, Fashion, and Form: Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors Arrives in South Africa
Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors’ latest collection, recently unveiled at Salone del Mobile, channels the seductive extremes of nature through a fashion-forward design lens. Now available in South Africa exclusively through Casarredo, the collection captures a vision of living that’s both tactile and theatrical, layering chromatic depth with sensorial detail.
The central furniture line, inspired by Nevada’s sun-scorched dunes, is grounded in warm, earthy tones and elemental materials. Red Jasper marble, used throughout, delivers a rich, visceral presence, balancing rawness with refinement. There’s a primal elegance here, a deliberate contrast between the polished and the organic.
The Misitu collection pushes this narrative further. Its sculptural sideboard disrupts the expected, fusing glossy ivory lacquer with dark rose Carbalho veneer in irregular planes. Red Jasper inlays lend a jewel-like intensity, transforming surface into statement. The Misitu night tables echo this language in miniature – compact, functional, yet daring in form. With their bold geometries and layered materials, they add architectural punctuation to the bedroom.
Available at Casarredo, the collection is part of a broader curated universe. With over two decades of experience, Casarredo delivers global design with local fluency, offering discerning clients bespoke access to renowned names such as Bentley Home, Versace Home, Tom Dixon, and Kettal. Here, beauty and utility are not opposites, but collaborators. With Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors, Casarredo reaffirms its role as South Africa’s portal to the world of collectable design, where every piece tells a story of place, power, and personality.
