Meet Scooch: The Sofa That Moves With You
What if your sofa could move with you, effortlessly adapting to shifting spaces, growing needs, and changing moods? That was the thinking behind Scooch, a new modular couch concept designed and made in South Africa.
At a glance, Scooch is clean-lined and quietly confident. But beneath the surface lies a clever system of precision-fit parts that click together without tools, designed to slot into place as easily as they come apart. It’s furniture made not just for sitting, but for living: moving house, growing families, last-minute reshuffles, Scooch handles them all with ease.
Available in three distinct silhouettes – Geneva’s soft modern curves, Oslo’s pared-back minimalism, and Siena’s sharp contemporary edge – the range offers plenty of flexibility, both in layout and look. Choose your configuration now, then expand or reconfigure later. It’s designed to evolve as your space does.
Materiality is just as considered. High-resilience foam delivers all-day comfort with architectural structure, while sustainable manufacturing and compact shipping reduce the environmental footprint often associated with traditional sofas. Form follows function, without compromise.
Scooch is available through Sit Betta, a design studio that shares the same belief in balancing beauty, comfort, and practicality. And perhaps most importantly, in removing the friction from furniture buying. No pivoting up staircases. No endless lead times. Just thoughtful design, delivered.
In a world that doesn’t stand still, why should your sofa
