Maldini: Qeeboo
Known for its bright, bold and imaginative designs, Milan-based furniture company Qeeboo is a top choice for those looking to inject their interiors with fun, playful – and functional – pieces.
“Our designers are visual storytellers who propose a personal creative vision, far from traditional design imagination. Their uniqueness is based on the exploration of different views of figurative art, moving through a narrative approach, and creating iconic objects with great emotional power,” Qeeboo says of the one-of-a-kind designs and the creative minds behind them.
The latest offering includes the Abyss Lamp – a fun, fish-shaped lamp designed by Dai Sugasawa. Inspired by the anglerfish swimming in the deep seas with its luminous built-in rod, the lamp is made from recyclable polythene and available in several bold colours.
Then there’s also the Cactus Pouf by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancma, the Cat Cave, a super stylish two-story cat house, designed by Stefano Giovan, the Bonos table by Daï Sugasawa and the super cute Cherry Lamp by Nina Zupanc. Voluptuous, fleshy and captivating, the suspension light is available in several colour options and most certainly makes for a statement lighting feature.
Another novel design is the Cobble Table and Chair designed by Elisa Giovannoni. The table design features a central base where you can insert a bucket containing plants or ice to keep bottles fresh. Available in several colours, it is also made from recyclable polythene.
Last but not least, there’s also the Capitol Sidetable by Studio Job. Inspired by the dome of the Capitol Building in Washington DC, the low side table is a stately addition to any indoor or outdoor space.
