Lifestyle and Personality with Wakefield.
Furniture should reflect your lifestyle and personality, creating a space that speaks uniquely to who you are. At WAKEFIELD, the team believes that every item must be produced using the finest quality materials as well as maintaining great design and value.
Wakefield was founded by husband-and-wife team, Sol and Shana Wakefield, who are both fiercely passionate about the industry and actively involved in overseeing the manufacturing process. The duo thereby ensures that the end product is of the highest quality and appropriate specifications.
The main objective is to make luxury furniture affordable. To this end, Wakefield’s sofas and chairs are handmade by experienced craftsmen, some of whom have been in the trade for over 30 years.
Furthermore, they manufacture brand-new furniture and specialize in the following:
Genuine leather and fabric furniture, re-upholstery of old furniture and bespoke offerings. Wakefield takes pride in delivering a range of furniture including designs, dining furniture, bedroom furniture and lounge suites.
All furniture is handmade, from the framework to the cutting and stitching. What’s more? Wakefield loves to keep it local and therefore the company supports small businesses when purchasing raw materials. Most of the staff are from the surrounding areas. The younger and new staff are consistently mentored by the more experienced craftsmen and women, which leads to improvement of their workmanship and craft.
