Ilovani: eco-friendly
An eco-friendly way to make your home look gorgeous.
Based on South Africa’s picturesque Garden Route, it is no surprise that Ilovani is green to the core.
Not only are their furniture designs inspired by nature but is also committed to manufacturing eco-friendly pieces.
“We only use timber sourced from accredited sources, implementing recovery programmes to create handmade furniture, homeware and accessories using recycled glass, wood off-cuts and redundant wine barrels,” explains owners Lisa Murray and Claire O’Grady.

Not only does the team use sustainably sourced and recycled materials but they also utilise eco-friendly production methods to create quality items with timeless appeal.
This includes the curvy Bankie and Love Seat, both made from reclaimed oak wine barrel staves, and the cool and contemporary Retro Daybed.
Another best-seller is the Wishbone Desk. A beautiful minimalist design, the oak desk is perfect for kids and adults alike and features a clean design and built-in storage.
The company also manufactures a range of homeware items from reclaimed oak. This includes a range of mid-century modern-inspired Mod-pod breadboards, as well as salad servers and toast tongs, pizza boards, egg trays and more.
And, to round it all off, Ilovani also stocks a range of artwork for the home and garden, including metal sculptures, paintings and drawings.
“Although our designs are modern, they also boast a timeless quality that ensures that they that won’t date – they have a soul beyond fashionable seasons and offer a functional way to connect the organic with the urban,” says Lisa and Claire.
