The Perfect Perch: Benches From Hope Garden Furniture

Seeking solace in the garden or a cosy setting for two or three? Hope garden furniture has a selection of benches to meet your requirements. With over 30 years in manufacture, Hope products are renowned for excellent workmanship and longevity.

The park bench provides classic convivial seating in the garden and is also the ideal spot to put your feet up in-between planting the autumn bulbs. Lemonade in hand, you keep a vigil on the hadedas above. Without arms, it is the perfect bench to slide onto at Hope’s smaller rectilinear tables.

Cousin to the park bench is the Florence bench. Find respite from the sun on this this elegant two seater in-between harvesting the olives or meet the sunset with Prosecco for two and the saltiness of last year’s olives. A snug fit with the popular Florence chairs.

For unapologetic hedonism, Hope brings us the recliner bench. Three can sink into laziness or an intimate two.  Snacks and aperitifs should be on hand on one of our occasional tables. If you’re feeling less amiable the recliner chair is an excellent solitary friend to the bench.

Next in line is the trestle bench, less garden, less reclining and more lining the children in a row down the table. These benches are a handsome companion to the trestle tables, or any of out rectilinear tables. Alternatively use the bench against the wall on the stoep. A morning coffee with the hadedas or afternoon tea with, well probably with the hadedas again.

Seeking clean, minimalist lines, the nan bench, from our 3 range is the natural counterpart to the nan table. Suited to modern homes or your beach cottage this is the ideal bench for small spaces.

From Constantia garden parties to constant Gardens’ parties no bench warmers need be discontent.
