How did ParcHaus come about?

“The idea for the ParcHaus business was born out of the desire to create enjoyable and unique living experiences. An ever-increasing number of people enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and the garden, terrace and patio have become an extension of the living room. Customers are looking for outdoor furniture, accessories and table culture that offers the same level of comfort and style as indoor living – yet offers weather resistance and durability. Hence the ParcHaus motto: “Inside meets Outside Living” was born.”

What is ParcHaus’s approach to outdoor living and decorating?

“ParcHaus offers outdoor living experiences – this means that our focus is much broader than just offering exclusive outdoor furniture. We have spent considerable time and effort working with suppliers that can offer innovative, distinctive, stylish and durable products that enhance our ability to offer a unique living experience. When planning our patio experiences we consider every aspect of this experience: from furniture (lounging and dining) to shading (parasols and gazebos), heating (wood pellet heaters, fire bowls and throws), greening (planters and pots), ambience (solar lanterns, vases and candles) right through to “Table Culture” – setting your beautiful outdoor dining table (crockery, cutlery, glassware).

What can customers expect to find at ParcHaus?

“When garden furniture is mentioned, many people still often think of wooden, steel or wicker varieties. Furniture made from fabric should be indoors, shouldn’t it? Not at all! With advances in manufacturing and design, we are now able to use high-tech materials that allow a lounge set or a chair – made of ‘fabric’ – to be placed outside without the need to worry about the weather.

Some of the exciting products customers can see and shop in-store include our new summer collection, Borromeo, which is made from solid Indonesian certified teak wood with braided polyester rope insets and the New York Patio Swivel Chair, which features a double powder-coated aluminium frame and Olefin fabric water-repellent cushions.
