Jute Rugs:

The simple jute rug is a beautiful neutral piece in any interior. Adding texture, it can work to unify a space and can also be used to separate an open plan room, adding warmth, texture and purpose in a large area in your home. With natural fibres, a jute rug is a wonderful addition to a minimalist design scheme but can also function to complement a variety of styles and colours.

Morroco is a source of design inspiration – from the bright colours and beautiful architecture right down to the rich textures and patterns of the rugs used in this trend. We love the incorporation of Morrocan stripes modern homes – bringing instant chic elegance to a living room, or beautifully anchoring furniture in a bedroom (see above image).

Style your hide rug by layering it with other rugs in various shapes and textures for a modern, sophisticated look. Hide is also a classic staple in a neutral or Nordic design scheme.

Monochrome rugs:

The trend is to keep things simple and understated and we are seeing more designers turn toward monochromatic palettes for contrast and style. As such, a striking monochrome rug is a timeless piece in the home – in shades of white and black, this can easily add contrast, pattern and texture to your favourite spaces. Perfect for adding warmth and energy in a minimalist living area or under a statement coffee table.

Stripe rugs:

Stripes are playful and engaging and in a rug, it helps to draw our attention downward to appreciate the finer details found within a room. You can keep things simple with neutral stripes or pack a punch in a mix of vibrant coloured stripes for added emphasis. A great addition in an eclectic space or to add zest as an accent colour in a room.
