Italtile Presents Cersaie concordes

In its 40th iteration, Cersaie 2023showcased the best of the world’s innovative surface specialists. Our esteemed partners Atlas Concorde, the kings of large format stone-look porcelain tiles, who are long-time exhibitors at Cersaie, presented another spectacular pavilion. With the overarching theme of THE NEW TOMORROW, Atlas Concorde captured, in inimitable Atlas Concorde style, their highly expressive creativity and future-facing thinking.

We asked them for some quick feedback on their booth and Cersaie trends:

Q: What was the inspiration behind the Atlas Concorde stand this year?

A: Our interpretation of Quiet Elegance underpins every collection.

Q: Which was the Atlas Concorde range that, for you, best speaks to your theme and innovation?

A: Our Marvel Onyx. It’s marble-effect collection inspired by precious natural onyx slabs. Onyx is a semi-precious gemstone which has had a revival in interest and become a highly desirable trend. Our technology has enabled a remastering of the fascinating lightness, that plays between transparency and opacity. It’s the modern soul of onyx and it is endlessly elegan

Q: Which of your displays received the most positive feedback from the Cersaie 2023 attendees?

A: Gratifyingly, our Marvel Onyx. It just captured the imaginations of so many visitors. Also, we saw great interest in our Boost collection, which is a reimagination of modern concrete. And then there was excitement about our unique Habitat, an evolutionary step in our brand identity which is a range of porcelain furniture that includes bespoke porcelain washbasins, shelves and vanity tops that can be customised to suit the customer’s aesthetic.

Q: What overall tile trends did you spot at Cersaie 2023 that you feel will follow through into all international markets?

A: Without a doubt, the big sizes … large format tiles of up to 3 metres and more will continue to be an important trend; then the marble look is also a macro trend; finally, we are excited to see travertine looks come to the fore.

What colours do you see trending for the next few years in tiles?

A: Classic neutral tones: black, as well as onyx white and the remarkable travertine shades from ivory and beige to pale tan.
