Italtile Launches the New Cotto Patchwork Range
In line with the hot trend of patterned tiles taking the décor world by storm—Italtile is thrilled to unpack Ceramic Industries’ beautiful, Proudly South African rendition of the classic Patchwork tile.
COTTO is a magnificent remastering of the tile look that has been loved and much sought after for centuries. Based on the ancient art of ‘cementine’, but remastered with high tech digital inkjet technology, COTTO features a soft, honey-toned pattern on a 600×600 matt, glazed porcelain tile. COTTO offers one face (one pattern) in a shade variance of V3; which means the design and intensity of pigment differs subtly from one tile to another, to recreate the natural appeal of the original ‘cementine’ artists’ brushwork.
It is suitable for floors, which means it can also be successfully used on feature walls, patio areas, countertops, or a kitchen splash back. This is a tile that will work beautifully with a Natural, Rustic, Urban or Contemporary homestyle.
Italtile has enjoyed a partnership with Ceramic Industries for several years (and acquired a stake in 2017). It’s a relationship based on a shared philosophy of sustainability that extends to the support of communities in which we work. The COTTO range thus earns Italtile’s LiveGreen logo.
Adding more value to the range, this range has been manufactured with the latest eco technology: EcoTec : https://bit.ly/ItaltileBlogEcoTec
