Pick of The Week: The Stone Collection of Rugs
The Stone Collection is a collaboration by Okha Interiors and Zoya Rugs. Featuring six distinct designs in six different colourways, each rug has been woven using a blended twine of bamboo silk and Himalayan wool. The end result is a beautiful collection of bespoke rugs – and certainly our pick of the week!
Based in Cape Town, OKha Design Studio is a Furniture Design and Interiors Company operating internationally. They recently released this collection of abstract, geometric rugs influenced by traditional African Tribal Arts.
Taking inspiration from facets and geometry found in crystal and rock formations, as well as referencing traditional African motifs; this collection is the embodiment of a Contemporary Africa.
Rock structure, tribal art and traditional beadwork fuse as one defined graphic language; Angular and Geometric designs are zoomed in, exploded, reduced to their core dynamic component.
The result is elegant, concise and kinetic designs diffused with subtle texture and material nuances that make the Stone Collection abstract floor art for the progressive and discerning.
Available in multiple colourways, you can be sure to select a rug that suits your personality and space. The beauty of this collection is that there is a blend of superior materials, detailed craftsmanship and style working together. Far from just a simple rug, the Stone Collection ensures that you’re able to add a little comfort and warmth underfoot in any room.
