Hermès

The luxury fashion house set up a minimalist stage on which to display its homeware offering: blankets crafted from cashmere plaid and inspired by the silk scarves worn by jockeys, Cordélie Arçon rugs with racetrack designs and hand-illustrated porcelain tableware are just some of the stylish items displayed.

Loewe

Fashion house Loewe reimagined Jonathan Anderson’s Welsh stick chairs in paper, twine, shearling, leather and foil for its installation Loewe Chairs at Palazzo Isimbardi. Bringing together Loewe craftsmen from artisans around the world, the company aimed to transform the chair from a humble household item to an haute piece.

Missoni

Missoni showcased a fun range of pouffes inspired by panettone. ‘The idea is to work with simple shapes and remember a young, happy life,’ says the designer of the ‘Ciambellone’ and oscillating ‘Panettone’ pouffes, Alberto Caliri. The pouffes were covered in the house’s signature zigzag fabrics, as well as a new design, Nastri, which has a unique 3D effect.

Prada

For its exhibition this year, Prada once again collaborated with Formafantasma to create Prada Frames, which puts the focus on the relationship between design and the environment. This year’s theme was Materials in Flux – the exhibition tackled the subject of waste and how it could be transformed.

Tod’s

The Italian luxury goods company collaborated with photographer Tim Walker for their exhibition. Tim Walker – The Art of Craftsmanship was on display at Le Cavallerizze Museo Nazionale Della Scienza E Della Tecnologia during the event. Walker reproduced some of the brand’s signature designs, along with tools the craftsmen use, in super size, which he photographed for the exhibition.
