Christmas baubles for fashion fans
Fashionistas will be delighted to know that some of their favourite fashion brands have gone full Christmas this year, designing beautiful Christmas decorations.
From classic-inspired designs in white, red and green to creative, colourful interpretations of the Christmas theme and even some quirky options, here is our round-up of the most beautiful designer Christmas baubles this season.
Prada
Going iconic, Italian fashion house, Prada, has designed chequered white-and-red and white-and-black glass baubles.
The baubles are sold four in a pack, each with a distinctive geometric design inspired by the house’s design codes, such as the chequered design inspired by the chequered floors in the brand’s first boutique in Milan, Italy, and the Prada logo.
Paul Smith
For Christmas 2024, British designer Paul Smith has created baubles in the house’s signature multicoloured stripes.
Fun and playful, these colourful glass decorations are each painted by hand and come in a pretty branded gift box.
Loewe
For a quirky take on Christmas decor, look to Loewe. The fashion house has collaborated with Japanese ceramic artist Suna Fujita to create a range of animal-shaped baubles. There’s a speckled guinea fowl, an otter, a panda and a penguin. Each is crafted from blown glass and comes with a pretty Loewe-branded ribbon to be tied to trees.
Celine
Traditionalists will love Celine’s gilded gold baubles in the shape of the fashion house’s “Triomphe” logo.
Inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the decorations are also handpainted and perfect for adding a golden glimmer to your tree.
Dior
Also from Paris, Dior has crafted delicate crystal baubles, complete with etched motifs inspired by womenswear creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Cruise 2024 show held in Mexico earlier this year, in pastel green, pink and blue.
Hermès
Also taking inspiration from nature, the artisans at Hermès have crafted pretty striped swallows with colourful handmade silk twill cords for fashionable Christmas trees everywhere.
Cartier
Luxury jewellery maker Cartier has also created a trio of “Diabolo de Cartier” glass and porcelain baubles. The elegant decorations showcase the craft and skill of the house’s artisans and feature a panther design, a nod to the house’s symbol, and Cartier’s signature red ribbon.
