A multi-talented creative with over two decades of experience, Clinton started his career as a photographer. “These are my chosen speciality – I am forever exploring the medium of capturing light.”
Today, Clinton has grown his company, offering original works of art, limited-edition artworks, open-edition prints, bespoke, handmade rugs, textiles, furniture, wallpaper and objects, as well as interior and garden design.
“We conceptualise and design intimate interiors paces and gardens, also taking care of the specifications and installation.”
“For this, we start with an initial consultation and needs assessment during which we conduct a review of our client’s requirements, timelines and budgets given their expected outcomes. This is followed by research and inspiration – we conduct extensive research to develop the materiality of each design concept after which we create detailed moodboards to present to the client.
“During phase two, a detailed breakdown of costs is prepared. Once approved, we start the procurement and manufacturing process, securing the necessary products and selected elements.
“Once ready, each element is carefully installed as per the design plan and the site is carefully monitored to ensure even the smallest detail is up to the highest standard.”
For all of this, Clinton relies on his superb team of makers, including electroformer Thokozan, rug tufter Winnie, seamstress Debbie and powder-coater Paul.
“Ideas will remain just that if you don’t have the means or know-how to translate them into something real. All of our products are made with the knowledge, skills, and experience of our talented network of superhumans,” says Clinton of his extremely talented local team.
