Rich in colour and tradition, the latest fabric and wallpaper collection by Colefax and Fowler, is a beautiful range of heritage-inspired pattern and artisan craftsmanship.

“Highly wrought embroideries, layered prints and artisan Italian weaves are filtered through the unique Colefax and Fowler perspective, enriched with an English decorating tradition that spans nine decades,” states the company of its latest offering.

The latest collection, includes three new signature prints: Marius, an opulent large-scale damask with a softly textured, antiqued appearance and a fluid drape, joins Pelham, a classically inspired fabric with a coral pattern, depicted in cut and loop pile velvet, woven in dry linen and ground in soft cotton, and Chester as the newest offerings by the fabric house, a leopard spot design in a luxurious heavyweight weave with a dry handle.

“Embracing the rich historical aesthetic of Colefax and Fowler, the three new signature decorative prints captivate on a grand scale. Suitable for use as curtains or upholstery, the 100% linen ground acts as the perfect backdrop for the exceptional detail and textural intrigue of each design.”

The collection also includes other fauna-inspired designs, such as Tigre, a decorative weave, as well as bold, geometric prints such as Hilaire.

In true Colefax and Fowler style, the collection also includes several botanical-print fabrics: Olivia, a sumptuous silk, Melrose, Arbour, Mariella, Fontenoy and the colourful Nerelo to name a few.

To temper these, there’s the Cosima Velvet II plan velvet range and Tyndall, a beautiful selection of neutral-hued pain linens.

Colefax and Fowler is locally available through Mavromac Gatehouse.
