Mavromac Introduces Capri: A Mediterranean-Inspired Indoor/Outdoor Fabric Collection by Andrew Martin and Sophie Paterson
A joyful celebration of European summers, Andrew Martin presents Capri – a new collection of indoor/outdoor fabrics and cushions designed in collaboration with interior designer Sophie Paterson.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless charm of Italy’s island coast, the collection brings a relaxed elegance to both interior and exterior spaces. The collection captures the spirit of its namesake through thoughtful design and attention to detail and includes classic deckchair stripes, smart herringbone weaves, fine-ticking stripes, and fringe trims that echo the easygoing glamour of Mediterranean summers.
Made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic, the fabrics are highly durable, light-fast, and easy to maintain – qualities that make them well-suited to busy households and outdoor settings. Even under prolonged sun exposure, the textiles retain their colour and softness.
The collection also reflects a considered approach to sustainability. Trims are crafted from GRS-certified, recycled polyester, specifically engineered for weather resistance in outdoor environments.
Capri blends classic coastal motifs with practical innovation, offering a refined way to style transitional spaces. Whether used on a sun-drenched terrace or in a light-filled interior, the collection introduces colour and comfort – all with the ease of fabrics that are made to last.
